Work of Iron was founded on the belief that exceptional craftsmanship still matters.
Spending his summer months crafting custom wood stairways alongside his dad and brothers , Work of Iron's Founder Kelby Sayer learned from a young age the importance of not only hard work, but also offering your best work. Forging ahead with these principles, Kelby learned the skill of welding from his Grandfather. What started as time spent working in the summer months turned into a lifelong passion for building things the right way. No longer a single person operation, Work of Iron employs and continues to discover other craftsman that share these same values. From custom stair systems and railings to fireplace surrounds, kitchen hoods, gates, and architectural accents, every project is built with precision, integrity, and attention to detail.
We believe the best work happens when design and craftsmanship work together. That's why we collaborate closely with builders, designers, and homeowners throughout the entire process, from concept and fabrication to installation.
